How does Invisalign Work?
Every Invisalign journey is different, but most patients will experience a treatment plan with the following steps:
1. A Consultation Here At White Dental
During your first appointment with us we work with you to create a course of treatment that gives you the results you need. A 3D scan will be taken to create 3D imaging of your teeth as they are now. We also show you what your teeth will look like at each stage of treatment and the smile we can achieve!
2. Custom- aligner Creation
During your next visit to White Dental we give you your first set of aligners to use. We will talk you through how to fit them, clean them and care for them, and we may well give you your next few sets too. We will then see you for regular check-ups, and to provide you with your next aligner sets.
3. You’ll Have Treatment
You’ll wear your aligners every single day for most of the day apart from when you drink, eat, brush and floss. Each aligner set is used for around a fortnight until you switch to a new set. During regular check-ups, around every six weeks, we will make any necessary adjustments to your treatment.
4. Your Straight, Beautiful Smile!
Once you have worn all the aligners in your plan you will come in for an appointment where we may provide a final set of aligners to do any detail work. Once you no longer need aligners, we will then discuss retainers and aftercare with you.
Invisalign® - Invisalign Teen
White Dental also offers Invisalign Teen, the perfect straightening option for teens as an alternative to metal bracket and wire systems. It is discreet so teens can smile, take selfies and socialise in confidence. They can also continue to eat their favourite foods with ease. Clear Invisalign Teen aligners are also very easy to clean and take care of, avoiding common staining and plaque issues associated with traditional brace systems.
